After a highly successful event this past summer, Fox Boyz Racing is honored and privileged, in conjunction with the Gray Family, to announce that the Kinross Speedpark will once again host the Hot Shoe 100 in 2020.
“Its exciting to be able to release this news at this time of the year so that fans, competitors and sponsors can pencil in such a marquee event in their calendar and know when and where it will take place” stated Kinross Volunteer Director of Public Relations and Race Day Operations, Gerry Liscumb Jr.
“I saw, and was part of, the tremendous time and effort our volunteer crew and drivers here at Kinross put in to be able to host the event this past summer. For that collective group to be rewarded once again, and tasked with raising the bar once again and welcoming all these people into our racing family is an honor. We thank the Gray Family for their continued confidence” continued Liscumb Jr.
The Hot Shoe 100 is the highest-paying asphalt Modified event in the State of Michigan, and one of the biggest in the entire United States.
Last year’s (2019) event drew fifty-two of the best Modified drivers from across the United States and Canada to Kinross, all part of one-hundred-and-thirteen total competitors.
Additionally, it brought in over 225+ camping units, and 2500+ participants to the grounds.
2020 will mark the event’s 7th Anniversary and it will be held August 6-8, 2019 at the Chippewa County Fairgrounds - Home of the Kinross Speedpark.
Thursday Night (Aug. 6) gates will open for pit parking and practice sessions followed by preliminary races on Friday Night (Aug. 7) before the feature events take to the track on Saturday (Aug. 8).
The event will include the headlining Modified Division joined by ABC Stock Cars and support division(s).
Aside from the on-track activities, fans can once again expect a full agenda of events at the facility throughout the weekend to incorporate a full family atmosphere and jam-packed event for attendees of all ages.
