Stock car racing in the Twin Sault’s and EUP area kicked off last Sunday afternoon, and this week Fox Boyz Racing and the Kinross Speedpark are ready to get right back on the track.
For the only time of their regular season, the track will race for the second time in as many weeks this SUNDAY, JUNE 11TH
Time trials are set for 1:30 PM with racing to follow at 3 PM.
On tap is a full show of racing action in three divisions of cars with Modifieds, ABC Stock Cars and Four Cylinders while at Intermission the Kids can collect some coin in the “Kids Nickel Toss”.
Heading into Sunday’s action, NATHAN EMBREE (#10, Carrollton, OH) leads the Modified Division points standings after running double-duty one week ago.
Sault Ste. Marie, ON product CODY MACLEAN (#43) is tied for second position alongside last week’s feature winner, JOSH WARE (#7W, Barbeau, MI).
Cedarville, MI’s TONY RANKIN (#8) picked up the season opening win in the ABC Stock Car A-Division and holds the division points lead over NATHAN EMBREE (#10) and Soo, Ontario competitor JASON PRAYSNER.
Likewise in the ABC Stock Car B-Division, last week’s feature winner JOHN CARTER (#29, Sault Ste. Marie, ON) holds a two-point advantage over Rookie of the Year contender BRANDON CARSON (#54, Petoskey, MI) and JOHN LOWERY II (#2, Elmira, MI).
While in the Four Cylinder Division, BRENT FEWCHUK (#3, Sault Ste. Marie, ON) completed the clean sweep last week and leads the division over DON DANGLER III (#15, Sault Ste. Marie, MI) and defending track champion JON DIODATI (#52, Sault Ste. Marie, ON)
This week’s action is I-500 Day at the Races and spectators wearing a piece of I-500 apparel will receive $1 OFF main grandstand admission while a sled competing in the 2018 50th Anniversary event will on-site along with other activities.
Grandstand pricing is $11 for Adults, $7 for Seniors and Students while Kids 11 & Under are FREE.
