KINROSS, MICHIGAN-
With two events still remaining on their 2020 schedule of events, officials with the Kinross Speedpark and Fox Boyz Racing, are getting the ball rolling early on plans for 2021.
Earlier this afternoon track officials released their tentative schedule of events for next summer’s events at the 1/4 mile asphalt oval located in Kinross, Michigan.
“While , as we stated yesterday, we have not given up hope on getting trackside this September, we wanted to be proactive and be a leader in announcing our intentions for the future of the track and thought by releasing our schedule this early we would accomplish that” stated Speedpark Volunteer Director of Race Day Operations / PR Gerry Liscumb Jr.
“ Looking over our intentions 2021 will feature nine events starting in May and running through September. We are excited to bring back many fan and driver favorites, while adding a few new events to the mix as well” Liscumb added.
Racing at Kinross will primarily feature Saturday Night racing with Sunday raindates, while some Friday specials are mixed in later in the season as well.
Side-by-side racing action will kick off Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 29th and run through the second week of September when the year concludes with the Memorial Invitational in memory of Randy Dewitt and Ted Brooks.
The biggest event in the history of the Speedpark, the Hot Shoe 100, remains in it’s familiar slot in early August.
