After a rain out earlier this month, the Kinross Speedpark (fuelled by Fox Boyz Racing) will make a second attempt to kick off their 2016 racing season THIS SUNDAY, June 19th.
Time trials are set for 1:30 p.m. with racing action to follow at 3 p.m.
The afternoon will kick off local short-track racing and feature the Chris Jones Memorial, presented by Parsons Performance Parts.
Along with extended features in both the ABC Stock Car A-Division and B-Division, there will be a full show of Precision Forestry Modifieds and Four Cylinder cars.
This afternoon is also scheduled as the “Sands Showdown”, marking the second consecutive year that our fellow competitors from Sands Speedway (Marquette, MI) will join the Speedpark regulars on the 1/4 mile for Upper Peninsula bragging rights!
Main grandstand admission is $11 for Adults, $7 for Seniors & Students while Kids 11 & Under are always admitted FREE.
This week those youth who wear their minor sports jerseys (hockey, soccer, football, baseball) will also be admitted free.
Bring your dad, grandpa, uncle or brother and enjoy “Father’s Day” with them at the track!
To get to the Speedpark take exit 378 off I-75 and follow the signs to the Chippewa County Fairgrounds.
The 2016 season is the 20th Anniversary Season of providing fun, family entertainment at the track to fans and drivers from both sides of the St. Mary’s River!
