Fox Boyz Racing and the Kinross Speedpark is honored to announce that the RANDY SADDISON MEMORIAL for open-wheel Modifieds will return to the track in 2015.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday, July 5th (Racing at 3 p.m.) and will feature a 62-lap Modified Special event along with a regular show of ABC Stock Cars and Four Cylinders.
Kinross first held this event back in 2007.
Saddision, from Harbor Springs Michigan passed away on July 13, 2007.
Born November 14, 1950 in Petoskey to Raymond and Maxine (Miles) Saddison, Randy grew up in Harbor Springs where he attended school and later established a family excavating business.
On the track Randy was an ambassador to the sport and the facilities in Northern Michigan.
At Kinross, he and his son Jason originally made their debut in the Super Late Model division before he settled into his familiar #62 Modified racing machine.
He was a major part in the return of the Division to the Speedpark after it’s absence and was a big supporter of ensuring racing success locally.
