The Hot Shoe 100 is the largest Modified event in the Midwest, and one of the largest in the entire United States.
In 2019, the Kinross Speedpark was privileged to host this event for the first time, the 6th event in Hot Shoe history.
With over 1,800 fans in the grandstands, over 225 camping units on the grounds and 117 competitors, it was by far the largest event in the history of the Kinross Speedpark.
Along with the cars and stars from across the United States and Canada, the 2019 Hot Shoe 100 featured 25-year NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace who piloted a Burkett-Nester race car sponsored by Eazy Express and GFL Environmental.
The event was a huge success and an attribute to the hard work and dedication of the 'Gray Crew', the Speedpark volunteers and all of supporters (drivers, fans, sponsors) to make it possible.
Unfortunately, the 2020 event was cancelled due to the inactivity of Kinross due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are thoroughly looking forward to 2021 to return this highlighted event to the 1/4 mile asphalt oval on August 5-7, 2021.
