Champions to be crowned FRIDAY NIGHT at Kinross

(Photo courtesy of Turn4 Fans) KINROSS, MI- The chase for the track championships will come to a close THIS FRIDAY NIGHT - August 31st -when the Kinross Speedpark holds it’s final points night, and second last event of the 2018 local stock car racing season as part of the Chippewa County Fair. Racing under the lights kicks off with time trials at 6 PM and racing action to follow at 7:30 PM. Main grandstand admission (as set by the Chippewa County Fair) is $12 USD for Adults/Students/Seniors, $8 USD for Children aged 4 to 12 while Under 4 are FREE. Weather cancels Aug. 5 events

Mother Nature dampened the spirits of the 5th scheduled event at the Kinross Speedpark this past Sunday afternoon. After sunny skies greeted volunteers and drivers a like, qualifying would be complete but before racing was scheduled to begin - dark skies, threatening weather and rain forced the cancellation of the day’s events. KINROSS, MI- The month of August kicks off at the Kinross Speedpark with another “Sunday Showdown” this coming weekend. It’ll mark the local racing facilities fifth event of the 2018 season - a year that thus far has seen ninety-seven (97) different competitors vie for the checkered flag. Sunday, August 5th, the 1/4 mile asphalt oval roars back to life with a full show of Modifieds, ABC Stock Cars and Four Cylinders cars proudly presented by Auto Value / Rudyard Auto Sales.
